We offer custom programs!

  • Meet A Scientist

Students will be introduced to some of the special equipment that is used in the laboratory. Students will learn that the process known as “science” is just a systematic way of learning using our 5 senses of smell, sight, taste, hearing, and touch. Students will discover that there are many different kinds of scientists. Students will witness the excitement of seeing some spectacular demonstrations and experiments. Safety and having adults help with all experiments will be stressed.

    Recommended Grade Level: K-1st

  • The Magic of Science

Students will see amazing science demonstrations that look like magic. They will learn that science is not magic but is full of wonders, and sometimes looks like magic. Demonstrations dealing with matter and energy will be performed.

    Recommended Grade Level: 1st-3rd

  • Sound Off

We will explore the three things that are needed in order to have sound: they are vibrations, something for sound to travel in, and something to receive the sound. Students will see how matter and energy help us to explain the phenomenon of sound. We will use musical instruments and the students’ own bodies to teach these concepts. Experiments using tuning forks, drinking glasses, pipes, oscilloscopes, dog whistles, balloons, and toys will be used in the program. Your students will be amazed when they see a glass break by using sound waves.

    Recommended Grade Level: 2nd-8th

  • Matter is Everywhere

Students will observe matter changing from solid to liquid to gas, and from solid to gas! We will also observe the fourth state of matter: plasma.

    Recommended Grade Level: 4th-8th

  • Wild

Learn about nature and animals, with hands-on opportunities to interact with a variety of creatures. In addition to learning about wildlife rescue and the life cycles of animals, students will delve into the importance of plants and animals and how humans have studied nature to create innovative inventions like airplanes. We also educate on ways to help protect nature and wildlife for future generations.

    Recommended Grade Level: K-Adult

  • Motion

Students will discover the Laws of Gravity and Motion. We will take a look at Isaac Newton’s life and see what led him to the discoveries for which he is famous. We will make artificial gravity. By using a “catapult,” we will discover equal but opposite reactions.

    Recommended Grade Level: 5th-8th

  • Watt Is Electricity?

Through hands-on demonstrations, students will take a close look at static and current electricity. We will discover how to make our own electricity. Contributions from great men of science like Franklin, Tesla, Faraday, Van de Graff, and Edison will be “felt” by using hands-on demonstrations with some classic electrical gadgets! This is going to be a “hair-raising” and “shocking” experience!

    Recommended Grade Level: 4th-8th

  • Physic Sampler

An introduction to the basic principles of Physics (motion, heat, electricity, magnetism, sound, and light). Several exciting experiments and demonstrations on each of these areas will be performed.

    Recommended Grade Level: 6th-8th

  • Chemistry Anyone?

Chemistry is the study of different substances, their composition, properties and reactions. A brief discussion of the periodic chart is incorporated into the content. Topics include physical and chemical changes; atoms & molecules; elements, compounds, and mixtures; simple chemical formulas, combustion reactions, clock reactions, polymers, cryogenics, and laboratory safety.

    Recommended Grade Level: 6th-8th

  • Weather

We will explore the forces that make up our weather. We will make rain, fog, lightning and a tornado. We will find out what makes hurricanes, and tornadoes. We will take a close look at weather station instruments, including a real weather balloon, a hot air balloon and discover how they work. Weather safety will be taught.

    Recommended Grade Level: 3rd-8th

  • Simple Machines

Students will see examples of all six types of simple machines; lever, pulley, and wheel and axle, incline plane, screw and wedge. This program spans science, history and math in a fun way. We will discover that biological creatures are made up of simple machines. By using Barney, a “real” human skeleton, students discover that their bodies are made of simple machines. By using hands on demonstrations students will discover that simple machines make-work easier for us. One of the most exciting demonstrations will be the firing of the “catapult."

    Recommended Grade Level: 3rd-8th

  • Space Science

Students will discover the excitement and the importance of space travel. Discover what it means to be an astronaut and what it’s like to travel, work, and live in space. Exciting liquid nitrogen experiments will be performed. We will take a close look at our Solar System and actually make a comet. One of your students might be one of the astronauts on the first manned mission to Mars!

    Recommended Grade Level: 3rd-8th

  • Intergalactic Art Lesson

Invite Dr. C.D. Rom “Ben Roy” to teach your science class. As a Teacher Resource Agent for the American Astronomical Society. Ben has developed a science Solar System art lesson that has students winning national NASA Space Art contests. This lesson makes ANY student or teacher an instant successful artist!

    Recommended Grade Level: K-Adult

  • Drugs, Trick or Treat?

Recommended Grade Level: 3rd-12th This special program uses the phenomena of science (demonstrations) to capture student interest while teaching about the dangers of taking drugs, including alcohol, tobacco products, and other chemicals (inhalants). These concepts are taught: Good and bad drugs, illicit drugs, peer pressure, things to do to feel good about yourself, getting help, and what to do if you know someone is using drugs.

    Recommended Grade Level: 3rd-12th

  • Science Showcase

Exciting science demos are performed from many different programs. Children of all ages, as well as adults, love this fast-paced science show. BEST SHOW FOR A WIDE RANGE OF AGES.
